I had to acquire a Peugeot 206 which was, unfortunately, a tape drive. However, my collection of cassettes is pretty lean, and I often take the road. After listening to Bleach and Incesticide about ten times in a row, so I had to make a choice : buy a CD/MP3 player 80€ or try with this cassette Sony for€ 15 despite the few negative reviews quite disturbing (its inaudible, a breath too far, etc). I chose this famous cassette, because the price and the possibility to use the wheel control (that would have jumped in with a new drive according to my mechanic). And I did well. I use the MP3 player to my laptop, simply put it at the bottom, then I rule with the command on the steering wheel. In general, no need to put the sound more strong that for a cassette tape classic (it depends on the encoding/recording more than the medium I think). After a few months, my opinion is shut down : it works well and it lasts. 4 stars, because some albums are less audible than others, but as I said at the moment, it is probably due to the encoding/recording. It is, in more extreme music, type of death/black metal (Opeth, Windir), and I do a lot of highway, that is to say, the type of road where the music means the least.
